Evangelization
Evangelization is the core mission of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians in Africa. The Sisters respond to the call of the Church to proclaim the Gospel in contexts marked by fragile faith, displacement, poverty, and cultural diversity. The Sisters actively collaborate with parishes and dioceses through activities such as Village and family apostolate, Catechism classes for children, youth, and adults, preparation for Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation, conducting communion services in the absence of priests, organizing rosary prayers, retreats, and faith formation programs and Supporting parish liturgy, choirs, altar care, and women’s groups…..
Education
Education is a powerful means of evangelization and social transformation in the MSMHC mission. The Sisters are committed to providing quality, value-based, and inclusive education, especially for children from poor and marginalized backgrounds. The Sisters are engaged in run kindergartens, primary schools, and special schools, promote inclusive education for children with disabilities, focus on moral values, discipline, and character formation, accompany vulnerable students through academic and material support, collaborate with parents, teachers, and local authorities…..
Healthcare
The healthcare ministry of the MSMHC Sisters is an expression of Christ’s healing compassion. The Sisters reach out to the sick, the poor, and those with limited access to medical facilities, especially in rural and conflict-affected areas.Their healthcare services includeManage health centers, Conduct mobile clinics in remote and underserved villages, Care for leprosy patients and chronically ill persons, Promote health awareness, hygiene, and preventive care, Provide holistic care addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs…..
YAC / WAC
The MSMHC Sisters recognize young people and women as agents of hope and transformation. Through Youth Apostle of Christ (YAC) and Women Apostolate of Christ (WAC), the sisters accompany, guide, and empower them in faith and life.the sisters Accompany young people through mentoring and faith animation,support women’s groups such as the Legion of Mary, promote leadership, skills training, and empowerment, Encourage responsible citizenship and Christian values…..
